What about a own server to store all the files on. Access for members who donate a small fee. This way you solve some (future) problems, like.. no broken URL's from secondary hosts. And as site owner you dont have to worry about yearly domain costs anymore if more people start to contribute.

But I would leave it optional- like a VIP status.
